Heffy Doodle and Time for Tea Designs Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to the Heffy Doodle and

Time for Tea Designs Collaboration Blog Hop!

The design teams ( + me!) have come together to share some

amazing inspiration featuring Heffy Doodle

and Time for Tea Designs products, and there is a prize up for grabs, too!

I am so excited that I got to join in this awesome blog hop. I love both of these companies so much and as you can see from my 5 cards once I started combining them I just couldn't stop!
So sorry for the long post haha

For card number 1 I used the new small heart xoxo die set and the heart from the Mini frame and banner set of Time for Tea Designs to make my background. I cut all the hearts out of grey and pink card layered them and stuck them down to make this pattern.

The adorable Elephant is from Heffy Doodles Elephant of Surprise stamp set and I coloured his up with Spectrum noir ice grey tri-blends. The stitched square frames are from the Heffy Doodle Stitched square dies. The sentiment is also from Heffy doodle and is from the new Close at heart stamp set. Just to finish it off I scattered some Nuvo drops around adding sparkle and texture.

For my next card I inked up these super cute Pandas from Time for Tea designs Pandamonium party stamp set. I decoupaged their heads and used just a touch of Ice blue spectrum noir tri-blend pen to add a bit of shadow it their white areas. I couldn't resist adding some fun with googly eyes for them both as well. For the background in the circle I used one of the new Time for Tea stamps called Squiggly Giggly. I stamped it in 3 different colours of distress oxide and slightly off set it each time to make it look like patterned paper. The grey stitched circle is from Time for Teas Circles of love nesting dies set.

The sentiments are from two new Heffy doodle stamp sets. The Close at heart stamp set and the bold banner sentiments. The grass is die cut from green card using Grassy Lass dies from Heffy doodle. And again to finish I used Nuvo drops to add sparkle and texture.

Card Number 3 features the new Hot diggity dog stamp set from Heffy Doodle long side this awesome bold new Thank you sentiment die from Time for tea designs. I coloured the dog with copics and the thank you I cut out twice so the grey one could be used to look like a shadow. To finish this card I put a strip of grey card down the side and stamped it tone on tone using the new washi strips stamps from time for tea designs.

Card 4 and I had to do a slim line card among the cards I was doing somewhere. So here it is and I used the new Heffy doodle Slim line trio die to do the frame around this one. I used the biggest frame in the set and this is a DL card. I trimmed the ends off as this largest one is just bigger than a DL but as you can see the width fits perfectly. I then used the next size down to do the main image inking up the background using distress oxides and time for tea blender brushes along with the curved edge of the new heffy doodle green fields stencil to make a scene.

The new Sealy friends stamp set from Heffy Doodle was just too cute not to colour up. I coloured them using Warm grey spectrum noir tri-blend pens. The small stamped sending hugs sentiment is again from the Close at heart stamp set.

The big friend shadow die is from Time for tea designs and I covered it in Nuvo drops and scattered some more Nuvo drops to add sparkle and texture.

Last but by no means least I have done some stenciling using the Time for Tea designs scattered hearts stencil, blender brushes and two shades of pink distress oxides . The frame for this card is a time for tea design die called smile sentiment and scalloped frame. The thinking of you shadow die is a new one from Heffy doodle and I think is a great size to be just used alone on a card like this. As with all the other cards of course I added some Nuvo drops to finish it off.

Heffy Doodle and Time for Tea Designs will each be giving away a £25 voucher to spend in their respective stores.

Winners will be chosen randomly and announced on July 28th on the Heffy Doodle and Time for TeaDesigns blogs.

Bubbly baby Mertot

I am still so happy to be showing this next cutie as GDT for this weeks Sweet November release. This adorable bubble mertot is called May Mertot and is available in the Sweet November store now as a digi stamp so you can get her straight away. For me this bubble was crying out to be made into a shaker card.

I have coloured this cutie with the following copics:
Skin: E33, E21, E00
Hair: C9, C7, C5, C3
Tail: YR27, YR68, YR15
Toy: BG49, BG23, G00
Bubble background: BG15, G00
As normal for me I had to cover her tail in spectrum noir crystal clear sparkle pen and glossy accents.

I cut her out using Heffy Doodles stitched circles and did a couple of smaller stitched circles as extra bubbles that I then added some whatcha saying? sentiments to. For the shaker itself I cut another same sized circle from acetate and to finish it cut a thin circle frame in foam and in black card to just cover up the foam and just edge all the stitched circles/ bubbles.
For the background I used the Create a smile geometrics stamp set with the Altenew sweet dreams ink cubes to just give a bubbly background.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Make my Monday - For a baby
Ike's World - R is for round or dots
Crafty Creations - Anything goes
The sisterhood of crafters - Favorite technique (I love stamping/ making back grounds)
Little Red Wagon - Use backing paper or make your own. (I have made my own)

GDT for Sweet November

I can not tell you how excited I am to have been asked to be GDT for the incredible Sweet November for the release this week. I have had so much fun with the 2 new little mer tots. For this first card I have used the adorable June Mertot.
I decided to decoupage her as that is something I have not done with an image in ages and I love the way it make her look more 3D. I coloured her with my copics using the following colours:
Skin: E33, E21, E00 + a touch of R81
Hair: V06, R85, R81
Tail: G07, G14, YG03
Fish: Y38, Y02, Y000
As normal for me I had to cover her tail in spectrum noir crystal clear sparkle pen and glossy accents.

I made the background with distress oxide inks (Seedless preserves, Worn lipstick, Squeezed Lemonade) I then flicked some water over my inking and then sprayed some wilted violet distress oxide spray. The Dream big shadow sentiment is from time for tea and the smaller sentiment is from an old Stampin' up! stamp set.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Allsorts _ Magical worlds
Get creative - Fantasy
Simon Says Stamp - Make your own background
