Dahlia Fae

This beautiful oldie but a goodie digi is called Dahlia-fae and you can get her from the awesome Sweet November Stamps. I had a lot of fun colouring her up with copics and will have a video on my colouring shortly on my YouTube channel. If you haven't already I would love it if you would follow me over there. You can find my YouTube

For the background I used a stencil called Laurel from Lavinia stamps and inked blended Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn distress oxide inks before flicking some Rustic Wilderness distress oxide spray

I coloured her with the following copics:

Skin: E33, E11, E00

Hair: W9, E49, E59, E57

Flower: YR18, YR04, Y08

Leaf and dress: G28, G19, YG09

Shoes: W9

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog.

Rediscovery hop - Birthday

Hello everyone! With every new month brings rediscovery. Today I am participating in an Instagram Hop highlighting rediscovery. The premise of this hop is to dig through that drawer, route through that hidden pile, or open those bins and find what has been forgotten about. I encourage you to try this and instead of buying new product, take a look at the treasures you already have. This is a monthly hop so if you are interested in joining us, message @craftwithme101 to get all of the information. 🙂

The theme for this months hop is Birthdays. I have had this super cute little fairy from Stamping Bella coloured up for a while now and just knew I had to get her on this card. I have used a beautiful paper from the First Edition "Let's Celebrate" 6x6 pack that you can get for a bargain price of just £1.50 right now over are DRK crafts. I love how this paper has little bits of gold foiling on it so it really adds a nice shine to my card. The pink card is from the Dove craft summer pack and I used it to mat behind my patterned paper and then also used another old craft item the white orbs stencil from Lavinia stamps to emboss those spots onto it.

For the sentiment I used Dove craft A4 smooth metallic card and the happy and birthday dies from Heffy doodle. I think they work well with the touches of gold foil in the patterned paper and add even more shine.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:

Patties creations - Anything goes
Sweet Stampin' - Things with wings
My time to craft - Dry embossing
The fairy and the unicorn - Anything Fantasy goes

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my blog.

Sparkle Everywhere

I am so excited to be able to share with you that I am GDT with Mo's digital pencil challenge blog this month. The challenge is anything goes with a Mo image. I have been a massive Mo fan for the longest time and if you have not seen her digi stamps then you are missing out. Check them out HERE. This cutie is called Fairy Harrietta, I coloured with a mix of Spectrum Noir markers and copics. I couldn't resist giving her wings a bit of sparkle and shine using nuvo drops and glossy accents

For the background I used the Lavinia Berry stencil and inked through it using beautiful blender brushes and Firefly Altenew crisp dye ink. I wanted her to stand out a bit from the background so I used the Heffy Doodle skinny circle frame die to highlight her. To finish this off I used a sentiment from the Heffy Doodle Fluffy puff unicorns stamp set and some more nuvo drops to be coming from her wand and add some more sparkle.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:
Creative fingers - Anything goes
Krafty chicks - Anything goes

Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog. I would love it if you would follow me and leave me a link to your blog so I can follow you back.

June mertot meets Lavinia stamps

There is now a whole range of Lavinia stamps in the Crafty Purple Frog shop and I thought why not try and mix them up with the super cute June Mertot from Sweet November stamps. I started by doing my background using the seaweed 2 and sea bubbles stamps with some green Altenew inks and then used a yellow altenew ink and the lightest blue ink I had to ink around the edges of the card.
The adorable June mertot digi I coloured with the following Copic markers:

Skin: E33, E21, E00
Hair: E49, E57, E55, E31
Fish friend: G17, G07, G14
Tail: YR07, YR15, Y08, Y02

I also added Spectrum noir crystal clear sparkle pen to her tail so its really sparkly :D

The big hello sentiment is from Crafters companions script words set and I embossed it in gold embossing powder so it stands out more and adds shine to the card.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
Arty Divas - Anything goes
Crafty sentiment- Anything goes
Get creative - Fantasy
Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog and I would love if you wanted to follow me and leave me a link to your blog so I can follow you back.
