Whale hello there

Yes you guessed it her is another result of the ink smooshing session the other day For this one I used Tumbled glass, salty ocean and chipped sapphire distress ink :D This one was crying out to be used for some kind of sea theme and I couldn't resist colouring up this beauty and her friend that comes with her. She is another Sweet November digi called Glimmer Surfside and humphrey.
I coloured them with the following copic markers:
Skin: E08, E37, E33, E31
Hair: C7, C5, C3
Tail: G07, G14, YG03
Top: E01
Whale back: C9, C7, C5
Whale belly: C1, C0
As normal for me I couldn't resist adding the spectrum noir crystal clear sparkle pen to her tail after it was coloured and then covering it with glossy accents.

The sentiment is stamped in Chipped Sapphire distress oxide ink and comes from the Heffy Doodle Oceans of love stamp set. Then I used a range of Nuvo drops all around them to add some more sparkle and dimension.

The look out

I am so glad I signed up to the Sweet November email list and this month this amazingly beautiful digi was a freebie just for being signed up. Don't worry as you can still grab her she is called the Look out and while you are there why not sign up so you can get whatever the next freebie is :D

I coloured her with the following copic markers:
Skin: E33, E21, E00
Tail: V06, R85, R81
Hair: Y38, Y17, Y06, Y02
Rock: W5, W3, W1
Water: B00, B000

Of course I couldn't just leave the tail without adding some spectrum noir crystal clear sparkle pen and then covering it with glossy accents :)

I had great fun ink smooshing the background with Seedless preserves, Wilted Violet and dusty concord distress oxide. I haven't done any ink smooshing in ages and had so much fun I did a few backgrounds so expect to see more :D
The sentiment is from the Heffy doodle oceans of love set and the layered banner die is also from Heffy doodle in the tag along die set. To finish it all off I used a range of nuvo drops to create some more sparkle and shine around her.

I am entering this card for the following challenges:

Hope to sea you soon

I could send this card to so many people at the moment. I am really loving having the extra time to be able to craft but I am missing seeing people too. I hope you are all keeping safe.
For this card I have used a whole range of fun Heffy Doodle products. The back ground I inked with tumbled glass, mermaid lagoon and blueprint sketch distress oxides through the bubble waves stencil
The shaker itself I made using the tag along die. This die makes shakers so simple as you can just cut the front, back, acetate and I even used it to cut the foam frame so it all fitted together perfectly!
The adorable shark is from the oceans of love stamp set as is the sentiment. For the background in the shaker I again did some ink blending with the same colours but this time I used the rays the roof stencil before adding all my little shaker bits. I coloured the shark with Nuvo markers.

I cut one of the thinnest stitched strips of ease and embossed my sentiment on it with some opaque bright white Wow! embossing powder then finished the whole card off by adding a few gold coast nuvo drops

I am entering this card for the following challenges:
A Place to start - Create a custom background
Make my Monday - Tone on tone background
All fun challenges - Anything goes
A perfect time to craft - Anything goes
A bit more time to craft - Anything goes

A little jelly

I the just love the way these Heffy Doodle stencils are so easy to use. I used a Tim Holtz blending tool to mix cracked pistachio, wilted violet and mermaid lagoon distress inks to create the swirly background with the bubble waves stencil.
The "congrats" is a die by Heffy Doodle. I cut it out once in navy blue and then again in silver card and layered them up together to give a kind of shadow effect.

The little jelly fish was just too cute for me to ignore so I decided to show it off by using it to create a background as well as being the main star of the card. For the back ground jellyfish I stamped them in the mermaid lagoon distress ink then outlined them with a light blue spectrum noir marker just to make them look a little less flat.
I used the following spectrum noir llustrator pens to colour the jellyfish:
Main jelly fish: PL2,LV2,LV1,
Background jellyfish: TB1

If you love Heffy Doodle as much as me don't forget they have a DT call going on at the moment. You can find the link to apply in my sidebar ---->
