Kindness Hop

Please come and join us on Instagram and hop along with us as we spread kindness through creativity—For me I like to send cards out randomly from time to time to friends or family just to give them a little smile and let them know how awesome they are. After all who doesn't love to get some happy mail??

For this card I have coloured the brilliant Stamping Bella Curvy Girl Is Busy stamp with spectrum noir tri-blend brush markers and popped her up a bit from the rest of the card on some foam pads so she stands out. The dotty back ground paper is from the Crafty Purple Frog happy times digi paper pack. The sentiment comes with the stamp and just to add a bit of sparkle I added some nuvo drops.

National Teen Self Esteem Hop

A great group of crafters have come together to spread love, joy and encouragement to our younger generation. Do you have a teenager in your household or maybe a younger child who struggle with Self Esteem, please share with them the lovely projects put together in this hop and maybe they can take some encouragement away from it!

For my card I used the papers that you can get for free during the hop from Crafty Purple Frog (you can find them on the Crafty Purple Frog blog HERE) and the first Crafty Purple Frog digi stamps which are a collection of cute sloths. I coloured him up with spectrum noir triblends and stuck him on the card with foam pads so he has a bit more dimension. The sentiment also comes as part of the Sloth digi set.

Sparkle Everywhere

I am so excited to be able to share with you that I am GDT with Mo's digital pencil challenge blog this month. The challenge is anything goes with a Mo image. I have been a massive Mo fan for the longest time and if you have not seen her digi stamps then you are missing out. Check them out HERE. This cutie is called Fairy Harrietta, I coloured with a mix of Spectrum Noir markers and copics. I couldn't resist giving her wings a bit of sparkle and shine using nuvo drops and glossy accents. 

For the background I used the Lavinia Berry stencil and inked through it using beautiful blender brushes and Firefly Altenew crisp dye ink. I wanted her to stand out a bit from the background so I used the Heffy Doodle skinny circle frame die to highlight her. To finish this off I used a sentiment from the Heffy Doodle Fluffy puff unicorns stamp set and some more nuvo drops to be coming from her wand and add some more sparkle.
